Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Factinvo (factinvo.com) collects, uses and protects information when you use our free invoice generators, salary calculators and tax guides. We take your privacy seriously — our tools work entirely in your browser and your financial data is never sent to our servers.

1. Information we collect

Data you enter into our tools: All invoice data, salary figures and calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. This data is stored in your browser's localStorage (so you can return to your work) and is never transmitted to Factinvo or any third party.

Usage data: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymised, aggregated page-view statistics (pages visited, country, browser type). This data contains no personal identifiers and is not shared with advertising networks.

Cookies: Factinvo itself does not set cookies. However, third-party services embedded on this site (see section 3) may set their own cookies.

2. How we use your information

3. Third-party services

Google AdSense: We display advertisements served by Google AdSense (Google LLC). Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalised ads based on your browsing activity across websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads or via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Ko-fi: We use Ko-fi's floating widget to allow voluntary donations. Ko-fi's privacy policy is available at ko-fi.com/privacy.

Cloudflare: Our site is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Affiliate links: Some pages contain affiliate links to accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks) and payment services (Wise). Clicking these links may set cookies managed by those third parties. We may receive a commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you.

4. Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold:

Since Factinvo does not store personal data on our servers, most of these rights apply primarily to data held by our third-party providers (Google, Cloudflare, Ko-fi). To exercise your rights regarding Google's data, visit myaccount.google.com.

For any other privacy enquiries, contact us at macalvo94@gmail.com.

5. Data retention

Invoice and calculator data entered by users is stored exclusively in the user's own browser (localStorage). You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings. Factinvo retains no copies of this data.

6. Children's privacy

Factinvo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Factinvo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
